Virgo 2019 Horoscope Overview

Virgo 2019 Horoscope Overview

Home is where the heart is, Virgo. But with Jupiter spending most of 2019 in Sagittarius (your fourth house), this year you’ll be at home wherever you go!

After all, for you, home is more a state of mind than a specific place. And the same goes for family—whether they’re biological relatives or kindred spirits, this year family ties are tighter than ever. Venus’ two conjunctions with Jupiter (January 22 and November 24) draw you toward spending more time with family and rediscovering your cultural and spiritual roots.

Just be mindful of the gap between visions of what family relationships “should” or “could” be, and what they actually are. Jupiter squares Neptune in Pisces three times this year (January 13, June 16, and September 21), making it easy to over-idealize. Things can also get too close for comfort, especially if you and your family members aren’t careful to set healthy boundaries.

You often put family first, Virgo, but by August, a Venus-Mars conjunction in your sign on the twenty-fourth puts your desires front and center. You won’t have to push too hard to get your way, though: with five planets in your sign at the Virgo new moon on August 30, you’ll have some powerful allies in your corner!

This Virgo stellium also forms a Grand Earth Trine with Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Taurus. You’re not asking for much—but asking at all feels like an empowering act of rebellion. It’s time to reject self-imposed limitations, and dream a little bigger!

Uranus’ transit of Taurus (from March 6 through 2026) will be all about expanding your vision. Unexpected life events, or experiences of “culture shock,” can prompt you to question just about everything. And with your ruler Mercury spending most of the fall (October 3-December 9) in the opposite sign of Scorpio, you’ll be in full investigative-reporter mode. Mercury’s retrograde, from October 31-November 20, finds you releasing old assumptions and revising your beliefs in light of new information. Just make sure it comes from sources you trust!
